Police will prepare the report for the Coroner after three men were killed and a five-year-old boy was injured in a crash on a rural property in the Upper Hunter Valley today, NSW Police say.
Police were told the vehicle containing three men and a five-year-old boy had travelled to the property off Waverley Road, Gundy, east of Scone this morning today.
Concerns were raised for their welfare this afternoon after they failed to return.
The car was located by a neighbouring landowner about 5pm and appeared to have rolled down an embankment.
All occupants were ejected from the vehicle, with the three men located dead at the scene and the five-year-old boy found nearby suffering a broken arm and other injuries.
The boy was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Inquiries into the cause of the crash are ongoing with examination of the scene expected to continue tomorrow.
