Three people have died in a plane crash in Tinamba West this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports the small plane crashed into a paddock near Hayfield-Upper Maffra Road about 5.45pm.
Police were told the plane was circling the area before it crashed and set on fire.
The pilot and two passengers, who are yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
They were the only occupants onboard.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
