Two men and a woman will face court today after two emergency services depots were broken into in the state's west.
Between 1.30am and 3am yesterday (Sunday 21 July 2019), the men and woman allegedly forced entry to a depot at Girilambone, stealing tools, a defibrillator and fuel from a primary response vehicle.
It is alleged they then attended a second depot at Coolabah where they forced entry and stole a number of similar items, before attempting to steal a Toyota Hilux.
They fled the scene in a stolen vehicle when disrupted by residents.
Officers attached to Central North Police District were alerted to the incident and located the two men and a woman in a vehicle on the outskirts of Coolabah.
They were arrested and taken to Nyngan Police Station where they were charged with break, enter and steal (x2). One man was also charged with driving whilst never licensed.
The men were refused bail, and all three will appear before Nyngan Local Court today (Monday 22 July 2019).
