Police have commenced an investigation following a three-vehicle crash in Sydney's west this morning.
Just before 6am (Tuesday 24 September 2024), emergency services were called to Richmond Road, Berkshire Park, following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.
Officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and were told a sedan and a hatchback have collided head on before a SUV subsequently collided into the back of hatchback.
Two female drivers were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in serious but stable conditions.
The male driver of SUV was not injured.
Richmond Road remains closed at this time and road users are urged to avoid the area.
