The third youth, aged 17, who had other outstanding matters, was charged with possession of cannabis, being found prepared for the commission of a crime, motor vehicle stealing, attempted motor vehicle stealing and destroying property and was detained to appear in court.

The youths involved were all in breach of court bail conditions at the time of the alleged offending.
