Taking centre stage is the Hot Rod Show, as more than 500 enthusiasts from across Australia show off their candy-coloured and chrome dream machines. American and Australian classics through to the 1970s will be on show, plus vintage motorbikes, hot rods, muscle cars and daily drivers, with all entrants going in the running for the coveted GreazeFest Trophies.
A highlight this year will be the Pinup Party 2024 where an attempt will be made to set a record for the highest number of pinups captured in a single photo!! Everyone is invited to celebrate the iconic pinup styles from the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s with wonderful retro fashion and hairstyles (think Pompadours, Ducktails and Flat Tops for the guys, and Victory Rolls, Pin-Up Bangs and Beehives for the gals)! The Pinup Party and group photo will be held on Saturday August 3 at 11.30am at GreazeFest.

A BIT ABOUT ROCKABILLY: Rockabilly was born in the mid-1950s, when a young Elvis Presley brought country music and rhythm'n'blues together in a powerful amalgamation at Sun Studios in Memphis. Other Sun acts such as Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash propelled the genre with signature rhythms, twangy guitars and rebellious flair. As this new music was embraced across America, the exciting sounds of rockabilly evolved into rock'n'roll, giving birth to an entire musical genre that shaped the music world as we know it today. Modern rockabilly culture celebrates vintage aesthetics, including stylish fashions, elaborate and intricate hairdos, stunning classic cars, and even old school tattoos. Rockabilly's legacy endures, influencing modern music and lifestyles, and is celebrated through festivals, clubs, and an enduring global fanbase. GreazeFest is the Australian flagship event.
