Leeton Shire Council is joining the 2025 NSW Seniors Festival celebrations with an exciting line-up of free events and activities for seniors scheduled to take place from 3 – 16 March 2025.
Themed 'Time to shine', this year's events are held across the Leeton Shire Library, Leeton Indoor Stadium and Leeton Regional Aquatic Centre, inspiring seniors to be active, socialise, and share their skills and wisdom, all while connecting with the community.

Library Supervisor, Rachel Cody, said the festival is an opportunity to showcase Council's extensive program of activities available to seniors.
"The Library, Stadium and Pool are host to a range of recreational activities year-round including tai chi, croquet, aqua aerobics, chair yoga, knitting, crocheting and brain games. We encourage those interested to come along and try out the many activities on offer.
"In addition, we are pleased to have a range of information sessions available to our senior citizens supported by local organisations such as My Aged Care, Leeton Community Health, Centrelink, NAB, U3A and CanAssist," she said.
