Following the loosening of some of the COVID-19 restrictions on May 2, Rockhampton Regional Council will trial a reopening of the Lakes Creek Road Waste Management Facility Trendy Trash Shop and the Gracemere Waste Transfer Station's Tip Shop from Friday 8 May.
Strict safety controls will be in place, including limiting the number of customers permitted in the shop at any time and increased levels of cleaning. Customers will also be required to follow social distancing rules, only attending with members of their household or one other person, and keeping 1.5m away from others at all times.
