Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a bushfire burning in the vicinity of Hall Road and Channel Road East, Tolga. The fire is burning within containment lines and is posing no threat to property at this time. Crews will continue to monitor the area throughout the evening. Nearby areas may be affected by a smoke haze throughout the afternoon. If affected, residents are advised to close windows and doors, and keep respiratory medication close by. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
