Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a grass fire burning near Dalrymple Drive, Javelin Street and Gladstone Benaraby Road in Toolooa. This fire broke out around 11am today and is posing no threat to property at this time. Firefighters are working to contain the fire but smoke may affect the area. Residents should close windows and doors and keep their medications close by if they suffer from a respiratory condition. Traffic management is in place in the area so motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
