A trifecta of renowned authors will be stopping into the Pioneer Theatre, in Castle Hill, this October and November.
Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Peter Gangemi said he was proud that Council' Hills Shire Library Service was bringing top writers and media personalities to The Hills Shire as part of their popular author talk series.
"Author talks are an awesome opportunity to meet the people behind your favourite books," Mayor Gangemi said.
"More than that, they are inspiring people who may even persuade you to dive into more and different style of books and topics. Or, encourage you to take that next step in your career and write that story you've always been dreaming about," Mayor Gangemi added.
First-up is international best-selling writer Belinda Alexandra who will discussing her latest book, The French Agent, on Friday, October 28 at 6.30pm.
Belinda's thrilling read follows French secret service agent Sabine Brouillette who is on a mission to avenge the deaths of her husband and son who were senselessly killed by a British double agent known as 'The Black Fox'.
Meanwhile, multi award-nominated writer Petronella McGovern will take to the local theatre stage for a special 'in conversation' event about her new book, The Liars, on Wednesday, November 2 at 6.30pm.
As the name of the book suggests, there will be plenty of lies, as well as twists and turns after a young woman makes a grim discovery that will rock the close-knit community of Kinton Bay right to its core.
Finally, TV personality and loveable larrikin Larry Emdur will discuss and sign copies of his new memoir, Happy As, on Thursday, November 17 at 6.30pm.
Larry's new book is a collection of wonderful and heart-warning stories that will take you through his life, including family, finding true love and his glowing career.
All books that will be discussed can be reserved via the FREE Hills Shire Library app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play on Android devices.
