Raptor Squad officers have charged a high-ranking Bandido for firearm supply, commercial cannabis supply and illegal hunting related offences in a joint-agency investigation.
In January 2025, State Crime Command's Raptor Squad North with the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, commenced an investigation into the alleged illegal hunting activities of a 34-year-old man.
On Thursday 30 January 2025, investigators executed a search warrant at a home in Agnes Banks, where they located a large amount of pig dog hunting equipment including two GPS receivers, four collars with electronic shock probes, fireworks, testosterone, sling shots and a mobile phone.
The GPS receivers and mobile phone were forensically examined, where police allegedly found evidence of 18 incidents of illegal hunting between May 2023 and December 2024.
Police also allegedly found evidence of firearm and cannabis supply.
About 12.15pm yesterday (Thursday 6 February 2025), a 34-year-old man was arrested in Glendenning.
The man was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited firearm, supply ammunition, supply prohibited drug (less than commercial quantity), possess prohibited weapon, handle explosive/precursor without authorising licence and supply prohibited drug.
The man was also charged with 46 offences related to illegal hunting.
He was refused bail to appear in Mount Druitt Local Court today (Friday 7 February 2025).
