An Extreme Fire Danger rating and Total Fire Ban has been declared for today, Monday 16 December for Murrindindi Shire.
For the safety of our staff and community, we have limited some of our services today, including:
- Waste services - our Resource Recovery Centres at Alexandra and Marysville are closed today, with our other locations usually closed on Mondays.
- Maternal and Child Health and Family Day Care services - we have postponed/rescheduled some of our regular services, and all impacted clients have been contacted.
- Swimming Pools - all pools remain open at this stage, however we will be monitoring conditions throughout the day.
