Tourism NT, Toyota Launch Kakadu Adventure Itinerary

Tourism NT has teamed up with Toyota Australia to launch the all-new Toyota LandCruiser Prado, accompanied by the ultimate Kakadu adventure itinerary.

The partnership will showcase the rugged landscapes of the Northern Territory with the ultimate Australian adventure vehicle-the Toyota LandCruiser Prado. This collaboration is a key element of Tourism NT's drive campaign aimed at inspiring Australians to road trip to the NT next year.

As part of the partnership, national travel and lifestyle media were invited to experience Kakadu in the new Toyota LandCruiser Prado. The trip was guided by local tourism operator and Bininj man from Kakadu, James Morgan. Social media content was curated, showcasing the ultimate adventure itinerary and will be shared across Toyota and Tourism NT channels in the coming months.

A bookable version of the itinerary is available for those seeking an epic Territory adventure, with LandCruiser Prado lovers also having the chance to win a trip to the NT through a competition launching in January 2025 and promoted by Toyota.

Suzana Bishop, Chief Executive Officer of Tourism NT, emphasized that a road trip off the beaten track is one of the best ways to experience the Northern Territory.

"In the Territory, you can venture off the beaten path even when you're on the bitumen and witness the landscape change dramatically as you drive. There are countless incredible experiences on offer, from driving right up to Uluru and watching the light transform the iconic rock face, to taking a dip in our stunning waterfalls, or enjoying an exhilarating outback 4x4 adventure," she said.

"Brand partnerships like this are a great way for Tourism NT to reach new audiences. You couldn't find a more iconic duo than the Toyota LandCruiser Prado and the NT.

Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer Vin Naidoo said Toyota and Tourism NT created the ultimate adventure itinerary to appeal to the shift in the way Aussies are hoping to holiday and cater for those looking to explore the beautiful scenery that the Northern Territory has to offer.

"There's nothing quite like an off-road adventure travelling through the Northern Territory exploring its stunning scenery and hidden gems in a 4WD," he said.
