More than 300 personnel have been involved in three interservice touch football events as players, coaches or officials.
Held in Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra, the tournaments gave permanent and part-time members from Navy, Army and Air Force the opportunity to participate in touch football at their regional level.
While players showcased their skills on the field, referees and support staff ensured a successful, competitive and fun day for all.
ADF Touch Football Association president Wing Commander Sheena Stapleton said the events had been pivotal in growing Defence touch football and improving the health and wellbeing of personnel.
"The strong turnout from the championships in March and the interservice competitions highlight the value of participation in Defence sports and reinforce the commitment of Defence to health and wellbeing," Wing Commander Stapleton said.
"These championships have been key to coordinating teams for the Defence Touch Nationals in Randwick in September and provide an ongoing team-building outlet where people can continue training together and developing skills in their home locations.
"It has been great to see the sport thriving and growing in interest across all military bases."
The competitions were also used to identify talent for the upcoming Defence Touch National Championship (DEFNATs), to be held at Randwick Barracks from September 2 to 7.
With about two months until DEFNATs, regions are shifting their focus to training and preparing teams as they go head to head in women's, men's and senior's divisions at the biggest ADF Touch Football event of the year.
