Townsville Emergency Alert Issued for Friday, Dec 20

An Emergency Alert Watch and Act has been issued for the Townsville area. Council advises localised flooding is happening at Bohle River and Blue Water Creek and urges residents in the area to Prepare to Leave.

Conditions could change quickly. Do not attempt to drive through flooded waters. Listen to local radio or go to Townsville Emergency Management and Disaster Dashboard at disaster.townsville.qld.gov.au.
