A Townsville resident recently celebrated an impressive $1.2 million windfall in the Saturday Gold Lotto. The lucky winner attributes his success to a weekly 30-minute ritual, where he dedicates his time to deliberate on the numbers he'll play in the upcoming draw. His strategy paid off when his ticket matched one of the four division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4403, held on 30 September 2023.
“Goodness me!” the jubilant winner exclaimed upon receiving the call from a lottery official to confirm his sizable prize.
“I just can’t believe it. Each week, I sit down and have a thinking session for 30 minutes, brainstorming which numbers to choose. I’ve done that for years. I would always wonder, ‘how do these people pick the winning numbers?’ Thank you so much.”
In addition to his joy, the winner expressed his intent to share the winnings with his close family, ensuring his loved ones also benefit from his good fortune.
“This is wonderful. My sons and daughters will be pleased to know I’ll be splitting it with them,” he joyfully shared.
