Police are appealing for public assistance as part of an ongoing investigation into a traffic crash at Loganlea yesterday, Tuesday, February 18.
Investigations indicate around 5.40pm, an unregistered trailbike travelling north on Kingston Road has collided with a pedestrian at the intersection of Kingston Road and Battle Street.
The trailbike failed to remain on scene.
The pedestrian, a 25-year-old Kingston man sustained serious injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV vision, particularly the movements of the unregistered trailbike, prior to and after the crash, to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
