Traffic Crash Appeal, Wellington Point

Police are appealing for public assistance following a serious bicycle and vehicle traffic crash in Wellington Point Saturday, March 29.

Just after 2pm, a white Holden Commodore utility travelling west on Old Cleveland Road East has collided with a bicycle.

The rider, a 13-year-old boy, was transported to Queensland Children's Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

A 17-year-old boy, the driver of the Holden, and an 18-year-old woman, the passenger, were not physically injured.

Investigations remain ongoing to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.

Police are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam and CCTV vision to come forward.
