Traffic Incident Appeal, Ebbw Vale

Police are appealing for information as part of an ongoing investigation into a traffic incident in Ebbw Vale on Wednesday, December 4.

It will be alleged, around 7pm, a red Mazda 3 and a white MG were involved in a crash at the intersection of Brisbane Road and Jordan Street.

Following the crash, it will be further alleged the occupants from the two vehicles were then involved in an altercation.

A 24-year-old Ebbw Vale man has since been charged with two counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle and one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm, fail to comply with duties of a driver involved in a crash, and driving without a driver's licence.

He appeared in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Thursday, December 5 and was refused bail.

He is expected to reappear in Ipswich Magistrates Court again on January 9, 2025.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage of the motorbike prior to the crash to come forward.
