A Gold Coast woman is thrilled to plan international travel after winning a huge share of the Saturday Gold Lotto draw $5 million division one prize on 15 June 2024.
The Queenslander held one of the nine division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4477 on Saturday 15 June 2024. Each division one winning entry pocketed $541,052.71, as the top prize split among a large number of winners.
The winner was oblivious to her good fortune until a lotto official contacted her yesterday to break the news.
“You’re joking!” she cried.
“Wow! Hell yeah!
“I don’t know what to say.
“I was feeling a bit cold, but now I’m all hot.
“Holy moly! I just can’t even think at the moment.
“This is just a random QuickPick. I can’t believe I spent $15 and won half a million dollars!
“This is just incredible. It means I can travel overseas and also spend more time with my family.”
The woman’s 18-game QuickPick was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4477 on 15 June 2024 were 34, 40, 12, 23, 36 and 38, while the supplementary numbers were 8 and 30.
Across Australia, there were nine division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4477 – three each in Queensland and Victoria, two in New South Wales and one in South Australia.
