TRC Seeking Community Input For New Youth Strategy

Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) is inviting community members to offer their views on the Region's draft Youth Strategy 2025-2030 until Friday, August 2, 2024.

TRC Community Development, Facilities and Tourism portfolio spokesperson Cr James O'Shea said the new strategy was an important guiding document that would engage residents from 12 to 24 who live, learn, work and play across the Region's communities.

"I encourage community members to take this opportunity to review the strategy and provide input," Cr O'Shea said.

"Extensive research was conducted in 2023, consulting with our Region's young people, families and the youth sector to ensure we were well informed when identifying the priority areas for the new strategy.

"This round of consultation will provide the broader community an opportunity to have their say on creating a connected Region where young people actively shape the future of our communities.
