Trees For Dad Success: Bayside

Bayside Council's successful Trees for Dad initiative on Saturday 31 August saw local families plant 67 trees for Father's Day.

The Trees for Dad events are a wonderful group activity for families who can enjoy our local open spaces while also helping to build Bayside's tree canopy.

Council hosted two Trees for Dad events on Saturday 31 August at Bona Park, Sans Souci and Garnett Jackson Reserve, Botany.

All the trees were supplied by the Bayside Garden Centre, a joint venture between Bayside Council and the Intellectual Disability Foundation of St. George.

The Bayside Garden Centre is open to the public and has approximately 80,000 plants, ranging from annuals to advanced trees, available for sale.
