Three teenagers have been arrested after they dumped a stolen car in Noble Park this morning.
The car was first seen by detectives with people on board acting suspiciously in Mathoura Avenue, Toorak about 2.40am.
Detectives followed the car and checked the registration confirming it was a stolen car taken from a home following an aggravated burglary in March.
Police on the ground followed the car before a pursuit was initiated when it sped away. It was called off a short time later.
The police Airwing then assisted police on the ground as the car travelled through the southern suburbs.
Police deployed stop sticks to slow the car before it was dumped in Corrigan Road in Noble Park.
Four offenders ran from the car however police were quickly on the scene and arrested three of the males aged 16, 13 and 15.
The trio are all assisting police with their enquiries.
Police have follow-up enquiries to make in relation to the fourth male that ran off.
