Trio Arrested After Point Cook Burglaries

Wyndham Crime Investigation unit detectives along with Werribee Neighbourhood Policing Unit and local members have arrested three people as part of an ongoing investigation into local burglaries.

Officers attended a vacant house on Boardwalk Boulevard, Point Cook about 9.30am on 27 February.

Local intelligence led investigators to believe that a number of people were squatting at the premises and may be able to assist with enquires into a number of local burglaries.

When police arrived at the premises it is alleged one of the men climbed into the roof and then jumped from the second story to avoid apprehension. He was apprehended by police with the assistance of a group of nearby tradesmen.

Officers have charged a 20-year-old Altona man with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle and trespass. He will face the Melbourne Magistrates' Court this evening.

A 39-year-old woman of no fixed address has been charged with trespass, produce false documents and obtain financial advantage by deception.

She has been bailed to appear at Werribee Magistrates' Court on 26 August 2025.

A 27-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor car, trespass and other offences.

The investigation is ongoing.
