Trio Charged in Acacia Ridge, Greenbank, Jimboomba Break-ins

Police have charged three people following investigations into break-ins at three businesses across South-East Queensland over the past two days.

It will be alleged that around 2.20am on Tuesday February 25, three people forced entry to a service station on Beaudesert Road at Acacia Ridge by smashing the front glass doors.

The trio allegedly stole a significant quantity of cigarettes and fled.

Around 2.15am on Wednesday February 26, it will be alleged three people broke into a supermarket on Teviot Road at Greenbank and stole cigarettes and cash.

Shortly after at 3.10am a silver Ford Falcon was allegedly reversed into the locked security screen of a tobacconist on Brisbane Street at Jimboomba.

Two men allegedly entered the business while a woman acted as look-out.

A quantity of cash and numerous tobacco items were allegedly stolen from the business before the trio fled in the Ford Falcon.

Subsequent investigations led police to Marsden where they located the Ford Falcon and arrested three people.

An 18-year-old Marsden man, a 17-year-old Marsden boy and a 19-year-old Loganlea woman have each been charged with three counts of enter premises.

The 18-year-old man is due to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.

The 17-year-old boy is due to appear at Beenleigh Childrens Court today.

The 19-year-old woman is due to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on March 26.
