Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Yuna (Chapman Valley) early yesterday morning, Thursday 28 April 2022.
About 5.25am, a cement truck and a tractor towing an air seeder and a seeder bar, collided on Chapman Valley Road near Nobla-Rockwell Road.
As a result of the collision, the 51-year-old truck driver received critical injuries and died at the scene.
A 20-year-old woman who was a passenger in the truck was uninjured but treated at the local hospital for shock.
The tractor driver, a 51-year-old man was not injured.
Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
