The United States maintains an enduring commitment to Turkmenistan's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, rooted in your country's principle of positive neutrality. As we reflect on our bilateral achievements during the past year, we look to our 32nd year of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to further develop our economic ties, tackle the climate crisis, strengthen regional security, and advance human rights.
Our friendship with Turkmenistan is reflected in our strong people-to-people ties, including educational and cultural exchanges, English language programming, and cultural heritage preservation. As our bilateral partnership continues to grow, I look forward to the people of our countries growing even closer in the year to come.
