Mayor John Dumaresq said the Summer Sounds program had been developed to grow and promote live music and performance in Nillumbik, and to profile Edendale Community Environment Farm as an arts and culture destination.
"Summer Sounds offers the Nillumbik community a unique opportunity to enjoy high-calibre music in our own backyard, without having to head in to the city," Cr Dumaresq said.
"The program also provides local opportunities for musicians."
Edendale Ward Councillor Kelly Joy said she was thrilled to see this collaboration come to fruition and the opportunities it provides to musicians, local businesses and local families.
Tickets are $15 for families, $5 per individual, and free for kids under three.
