Protective Service Officers have arrested two men following an aggravated burglary in Ringwood this morning.
Police were first alerted to the pair after a woman woke to the sound of glass shattering at her Hobart Street property about 1am.
The victim locked herself in her bedroom after she heard voices and called police.
It is believed the men left the scene in the victims Toyota Corolla which was found crashed into a traffic pole, at the intersection of Warrandyte Road and Maroondah Highway, shortly after.
The pair were arrested by PSOs at the Ringwood railway station after a member from the Dog Squad and his canine partner tracked the men from the crash scene.
A 20-year-old from Ringwood and 17-year-old from the Bendigo area will now be interviewed by detectives.
