Two Bodies Found - Little Bay Beach

Two bodies have been found following a search and rescue operation in Sydney's south.

About 11:10am today (Sunday 7 July 2024), emergency services were called to Little Bay Beach, Little Bay, following reports of a concern for welfare.

Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command attended and commenced a search, locating a number of items on nearby rocks.

A short time later, a body was found near the rocks.

About 1:40pm, a second body was found near the rocks.

Neither person is yet to be formally identified. No further details are known at this stage.

A police operation involving Marine Area Command and Polair is still underway in the area.
