Two Charged After Balcony Gunfire

Two men have been charged after shots were allegedly fired from a balcony on Sydney's North Shore yesterday.

About 4pm yesterday (Sunday 1 December 2024), emergency services were called to a unit block on Kurraba Road, Kurraba Point, following reports of a public place shooting.

On arrival, police were told two men were seen allegedly discharging a firearm from a balcony.

No injuries were reported.

Following inquiries, about 6.45pm, officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command arrested two 23-year-old men.

During a search of a vehicle at the location, police located and seized a gel blaster replica firearm.

The men were taken to Chatswood Police Station where they were both charged with possess unauthorised firearm.

Both men are due to appear before Manly Local Court on Thursday 12 December 2024.
