Two Cyclists Severely Hurt in Northern Beaches Crash

Two cyclists have been seriously injured following a crash in Sydney's Northern Beaches this morning.

About 6.10am today (Tuesday 4 June 2024), emergency services were called to Forest Way, Belrose, after reports of a crash involving two cyclists and a car.

Officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command attended along with NSW Ambulance paramedics, who treated two cyclists for serious injuries.

A cyclist was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.

The other cyclist was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver – a 24-year-old man – was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.
