Two people have died, and one other is in a critical condition following a crash in Greenacre tonight.
About 7pm (Tuesday 28 May 2024), emergency services were called to the intersection of the Hume Highway and Worth Street, Greenacre, following reports of a crash between a car and motorcycle.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the rider and pillion passenger of the motorcycle; however, they died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was treated for serious injuries and taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
A crime scene has been established as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Worth Street is closed between the Hume Highway and Muir Road and diversions are in place.
