Two people have died in a crash on Port Wakefield Road at Two Wells this morning, according to SA Police.
A green Toyota Camry sedan and a white Mitsubishi ute collided head-on near the intersection of Port Wakefield Road and Artesian Road, Two Wells just after 6am.
Emergency services raced to the scene however, both drivers, a 31-year-old Salisbury East man and a 56-year-old Webb Beach man, died at the scene.
Major Crash investigators attended and have commenced an investigation into the fatal crash.
Witnesses have reported that the green Toyota sedan was seen travelling on the incorrect side of the road, heading north, on Port Wakefield Road prior to the collision.

Southbound traffic is being diverted via Mallala Road onto Old Port Wakefield Road, with diversions expected to be in place for most of the morning.
Northbound traffic has been reopened.
The death of the two men this morning takes the State's road toll to 27, it was 19 at the same time last year.
