A man who escaped from a Broken Hill correctional facility – and a woman in his company – have been arrested.
Officers attached to Barrier Police District were investigating the whereabouts of two men – aged 23 and 28 – after they escaped from a correctional facility about 9.40pm yesterday (Sunday 9 March 2025).
About 11.30am today (Monday 10 March 2025), police arrested the younger man and a 31-year-old woman.
They have been taken to Dareton Police Station.
Inquiries are continuing into the whereabouts of the second escapee.
