Two Injured In Crash In Sydney's North-west

Two people have been released after being trapped when a truck and a ute collided at Seven Hills this morning.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Old Windsor Road and Abbott Road about 3.30am (Friday 17 May 2024), and found a woman and man trapped in what is described as a road-marking truck.

The man driving the ute, escaped serious injury; however, police have been told the male driver of the truck sustained fractures while his female passenger has suffered burns when splashed by hot paint.

All three northbound lanes of Old Windsor Road are currently closed due to the emergency response.

Both people trapped were released about 3.50am.

Officers attached to The Hills and Blacktown Police Area Commands are managing the scene, with Crash Investigation Unit officers en route.
