Two injured in house fire at Royal Park

Two people have sustained burns in a fire at Royal Park this evening.

Emergency services responded to reports of a fire at a Dover Street, Royal Park property just after 6.30pm on Monday 23 October.

A 39-year-old man sustained serious burns and was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital by ambulance in a life-threatening condition.

A 39-year-old woman also suffered burns and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The house was completely destroyed by fire, however MFS crews managed to prevent the fire spreading to neighbouring properties.

Fire cause investigators and detectives attended the scene.

The investigation into this incident is continuing.
