Two people have lost their lives following a crash on the Warrego Highway at Bowenville this morning.
Initial investigations indicate around 8:30am, a Holden Astra and a Kenworth semi-trailer collided with each other near Oakleigh Park Road.
Then, as a result the collision, the truck left the road and crashed into a pole.
A 22-year-old Pialba woman, the driver of the car, and 45-year-old Nobby man, the driver of the truck, both died at the scene. They were the sole occupants of each vehicle.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dashcam vision to come forward as investigations continue.
