Homicide Squad detectives have today arrested two men as part of their investigation into the death of a man in Yarram in January.
The men, aged 39 and 28-years-old, were arrested by detectives at rural properties in Yarram and Mildura.
The arrests follow an investigation into the death of a man after he was found badly injured on Yarram-Morwell Road on Tuesday 16 January, 2024 about 3pm.
Police were initially called to the scene following reports of a motorcycle crash before follow-up enquiries determined some of the injuries, to the 47-year-old man, appeared allegedly inconsistent with a crash.
The pair will now be interviewed by detectives from the Homicide Squad.
A 50-year-old woman was arrested and interviewed at the time of the incident and was released without charge.
