Two men were assaulted last night at Beulah Park, in what police believe was a drug related incident, according to SA Police.
Just after 9.30pm on Friday 13 January, police were called to Beulah Road, after two men were assaulted by up to four men wearing hooded tops or balaclavas, armed with metal poles and bottles.
A 26-year-old man from the eastern suburbs was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious facial and head injuries. His condition is not considered life-threatening.
The second man was treated in hospital for a cut to the head and later discharged.
Eastern Adelaide Police are investigating the incident, which is not considered random, with a drug debt the most likely motive for the attack.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
