Two Men Charged Under Strike Force Dribs

39 people have now been charged following an extensive investigation into a riot outside a church in Sydney's southwest in April this year.

Strike Force Dribs was established to investigate the large-scale public order incident which occurred in Wakeley on Monday 15 April 2024.

About 6:15pm yesterday (Monday 22 July 2024), a 22-year-old man attended Mount Druitt Police Station and was arrested.

He was charged with riot and destroy/damage property during public disorder.

He has been refused bail to appear before Mount Druitt Local Court today (Tuesday 23 July 2024).

About 7:30pm, a 25-year-old man attended Fairfield Police Station and was arrested.

He was charged with riot, aggravated break and enter with intent-in company-not steal and assault police officer in execution of duty cause actual bodily harm.

He was refused bail to appear in Fairfield Local Court today (Tuesday 23 July 2024).
