Two men will face court today charged after an alleged brawl in Fairfield on Monday.
About 5.15pm (Monday 3 March 2025) police were called to Rosina Street, Fairfield, following reports of a brawl.
Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command attended and were told a number of males and females were allegedly involved in the brawl which involved the use of bricks and wooden sticks.
Two men – aged 21 and 42 – were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
Two men – aged 38 and 53 – and two teenage boys – aged 16 and 17 – were arrested at the scene and taken to Fairfield Police Station.
Both men were charged with affray. The older man was also charged with armed with intent commit indictable offence.
The two teenage boys were charged with affray and armed with intent commit indictable offence.
They remain before the courts.
About 2pm yesterday (Tuesday 4 March 2025), the two men were released from hospital, arrested and taken to Fairfield Police Station where they were both charged with affray and armed with intent to commit indictable offence.
They were both refused bail to appear before Fairfield Local Court today (Wednesday 5 March 2025).
