Two Teenagers Charged After Malicious Damage - Dee Why

Two teenagers have been charged following alleged malicious damage at a public toilet in Sydney's north.

Just after 8.30pm on Wednesday (7 August 2024), police were called to Pittwater Road, Dee Why, following reports toilets had been graffitied.

On arrival, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were told two males were seen allegedly using markers to draw on the walls.

Police arrested a 16-year-old boy and he was charged with intentionally mark premises etc without consent and knowingly display by public act Nazi symbol without excuse.

Following further inquiries, another 16-year-old by was arrested at Dee Why on Saturday (10 August 2024).

He was charged with intentionally mark premises etc without consent.

Both boys were issued a court attendance notice to appear before a Children's Court on Tuesday 24 September 2024.
