Two Teenagers Charged After Man's Death At Shellharbour

Police have charged two additional teenagers following an investigation into the death of a man near Shellharbour last week.

Emergency services were called to Saturn Crescent, Dunmore, about 3pm on Tuesday 28 January 2025, where a 25-year-old man was found critically injured.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man for a stab wound to his abdomen; however, he died at the scene.

Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District commenced an investigation under Strike Force Feods, with the assistance of the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.

Initial investigations revealed the man had allegedly been stabbed while being assaulted by a number of people who fled in an Isuzu MU-X. The vehicle was later recovered in Albion Park Rail and seized for forensic examination.

A 38-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy have been charged in relation to the incident and remain before the courts.

Following further enquiries, two 13-year-old boys were arrested yesterday (Wednesday 5 February 2025) in Nowra and Thirroul.

They were taken to Nowra and Wollongong Police Stations, where they were both charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other and affray.

One of the boys was resfused bailed and appeared before a children's court today (Thursday 6 February 2025), where conditional bail was granted. He is due to face a children's court again on Tuesday 1 April 2025.

The second boy was granted conditional bail to appear before a children's court on Tuesday 25 March 2025.

Investigations under Strike Force Feods continue.
