Two women have been charged following an alleged aggravated break and enter in the state's west.
About 1:30am today (Saturday 21 December 2024), police were called to a storage facility in Talbragar Street, Dubbo, following reports of a break and enter.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District, with the assistance of a Dog Squad team, arrested two women, both aged 32.
They were taken to Dubbo Police Station where a 32-year-old woman from Coonabarabran was charged with four offences,
- Aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company intend steal
- Face blackened/disguised with intent commit indictable offence
- Possess housebreaking implements, and
- Goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen
She was granted conditional bail and will appear at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 15 January 2025.
A 32-year-old woman from Dubbo was also charged with four offences,
- Commit offence, having previous conviction
- Aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company intend steal
- Face blackened/disguised with intent commit indictable offence, and
- Possess housebreaking implements.
She was refused bail and will appear before Parramatta Local Court today, Saturday 21 December 2024.
