Those applying for a UK visa may see a change in suppliers in overseas Visa Application Centres (VACs).
The UK's global network of VACs is managed by third party suppliers on behalf of UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). From September 2024, there will be a change in suppliers in some locations. Over the next few months, VFS Global will become our overseas supplier in all locations.
Please note, this will not affect the customer's visa application decision, processing times or prices.
This change will improve our service for customers including on average shorter biometric and application submission times in the VAC.
