Under Secretary of State John Bass will travel to Kansas City, Independence, and Warrensburg, Missouri on October 21 to 23.
Under Secretary Bass will meet with community members and leaders from industry, local government, academia, and relief organizations to discuss U.S. foreign policy and how U.S. engagement in the world advance the safety, security, prosperity, and values of all Americans.
Under Secretary Bass will participate in a roundtable at the Truman Library Institute, a meeting with local refugee communities and the organizations that support them, and a range of other community engagements. He will also visit Whiteman Air Force Base.
