Department of Defense Spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Anton T. Semelroth provided the following readout:
Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Dr. Colin Kahl hosted Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska of North Macedonia at the Pentagon to reaffirm the U.S.-North Macedonia defense relationship. Dr. Kahl reiterated U.S. support for North Macedonia's ongoing progress toward its NATO capability targets, and greater interoperability with NATO Allies to include through robust regional exercises. The two leaders also discussed the situation in Ukraine, and North Macedonia's leadership in regional efforts to counter disinformation and malign influence. The Minister is in Washington D.C. for the inaugural U.S-North Macedonia Strategic Dialogue.
