Unemployed Man Charged, Lamborghini and Rolex Seized

Organised Crime Squad detectives have charged an unemployed Parramatta man after seizing multiple luxury vehicles and watches.

In May 2024, State Crime Command's Organised Crime Squad detectives – with assistance from the NSW Crime Commission – launched an investigation into the unexplained wealth of individuals with alleged links to organised crime networks.

Following investigations, on Sunday 11 July 2024, detectives executed a search warrant at a Parramatta unit.

During the search, detectives located and seized a Lamborghini Huracan, a Harley Davidson V-Rod and two Rolex watches.

All items seized are estimated to be worth over $500,000 combined.

Following inquiries, on Friday 16 August 2024, detectives charged a 39-year-old man – who has been receiving unemployment benefits since 2019 – with dishonestly possess interfered with unique identifier.

He was issued a Court Attendance Notice to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Friday 4 October 2024.

Investigations are continuing.
